I took this while on mission at the Lac du Flambeau Indian reservation in Northern Wisconsin. I had a day to do some exploring so I drove to the Apostle Islands National Seashore and took the ferry to Madeline Island. It was a cold, spring day so the island was pretty secluded and that was fine with me! I loved the variety of color in these rocks.

I am a missionary to Native Americans on reservations throughout the United States. This calling has only intensified my life long love affair with travel and photography and has opened a whole new world of possibilites in the artistic realm. I find in nature a place to worship my Creator...a place to renew my soul. I attempt to capture that feeling in my photos.
